first_imgThe Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) is pleased to announce that the judging period for the 2013 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) has commenced, and will conclude on 14th June.From today, more than half of the 160 NTIA finalists will be conducting presentations for the official panel of six judges, with three to be present at each session. The finalists will be judged on their competence in addressing all of the criteria outlined in the guidelines provided by AFTA, in a logical and thorough manner.Jayson Westbury, AFTA Chief Executive, said: “This is an opportunity for presenters to showcase their business or individual performances over the selected time period. We’re looking forward to seeing charismatic, creative and original presenters who are relaxed, and are enjoying the process.  It’s a tough competition and I wish everyone the best of luck over this fortnight.”The 33 category winners will be announced at the NTIA Gala Dinner on 20 July at the Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park.Qantas is the major sponsor of the 2013 NTIA, providing much valued support in recognising and celebrating our industry’s best.  Entry to the AFTA Party sponsored by Singapore Airlines is also included with every gala dinner ticket purchased.  Source = AFTAlast_img read more
